Healthy body is the greatest gift to the mankind Good health and wellbeing is essential to human existence. In rural areas, few facilities are available for basic health care needs.but the existing few that are there are inadequately equipped and under-staffed. Hence poor families continue to suffer, particularly women and children. Krishna Kripa Trust in an attempt to support these people periodically holds health check-up camps in remote locations with qualified medical teams and medical supplies for the benefit the poor. Krishna Kripa Trust's Health program focuses on these prevailing health concerns of the underprivileged section of the society;Normally the Health Camps involves through physical consultation, examination and referral to further treatments in serious cases with proper follow-up.
Eye Camp was organised at Krishna Kripa Ashram premises where 291eye patients from surrounding 12 villages have diagnosed. 27 patients were refer for eye operation where as 160 were given spectales.
Conducting Health checkup camps is a regular activity for our Krishna Kripa Trust. Poor rural people are taking benefit from this facility - free of cost. Krishna Kripa Trust is also working with voluntary organizations who can provide free medical treatments including surgeries etc.
We have been successful in mobilizing communities in demanding quality medical services, however in serious cases like Cancer, Paralysis, Heart, Kidney problems we are unable to provide services. Such cases are referred to the speciality hospitals located in the nearby cities and at times local Government hospital. Our challenges lie in our continuous efforts in finding better solutions that could improve our services to the community. Krishna Kripa Trust is also committed to provide low cost laboratory and diagnosis centre (NON PROFIT BASIS) where the poor can avail the services at bare minimum cost.
